A lecture for U Dub students

A group of American students from University of Washington (Seattle) were visiting Belgrade during their study trip through the Balkans. Their teachers (Norman and Zorica Wacker) invited me to give a lecture on visual culture and art in ex Yugoslavia and present Serbia.

Neizdrž

An illustration for the outdoor art project on the wall of the ZAPLET restaurant in Belgrade.
Neizdrž (Serbian neologism) could be translated as "incontinence of discontent". Something that you just cannot retain anymore. It is an invitation for art students to make an outdoor artwork about something that they have an unbearable urge to say.
