Mobile Studios - Belgrade

Public discussion about situation of contemporary art in Serbia considering media reception. Participants: Jelena Djurovic-Mutaovic, Vladimir Tupanjac and Aleksandar Macasev (moderator). The discussion was a part of Bogomir Doringer's artwork called "Stolen Chair". The whole event is a part of Mobile Studios project in Belgrade. It is about displaying art in cubicles in a public space.

Conclusion of the discussion was: contemporary art should use well elaborated media/spectacle channels to gain visibility. There is no low or high culture and every cultural product is on the free market. It is up to an artist to play the media game or not.
