Left - Money

Buttons created for HUPER magazine celebrating the anniversary of the "Summer of Love". The task was to create a dichotomy pair describing the year of 1968.
This is a take on R. Indiana's seminal LOVE, but this time in Serbian.
LEVO in Serbian means "left", and LOVA is a Serbian slang word for "money".

Pretty Cool People Interviews
An interview for the "Pretty Cool People Interviews" film project of the Submarine Channel just came out.
Check it out at http://prettycoolpeopleintervie

"Aleksandar Maćašev doesn't mince matters: "The real center of power in Serbia is the pharmacist. Give the people a lot of tranquilizers and they will not complain." According to the Belgrade based artist and graphic designer, a lot of Serbian people are on drugs.
Macasev came to Belgrade in the beginning of the nineties, a turbulent time of war, protests and isolation. This period had a big influence on Maćašev, who has a very critical attitude to politics and who uses his art to grow awareness on tricky issues like mass communication and corruption."
SubmarineChannel talks to creative people that explore the boundaries of today's moving image culture.
We asked them about their unique way of storytelling and image making, and they talked about the things they know best.
SubmarineChannel is both a distribution and a production platform for filmmakers and interactive artists who are exploring the potential of the web. It gathers the most stylish, offbeat, original and arresting artworks for the net into one place.
